FIFA 21’s Actuality This Week

Last week was full of FIFA 21 news, mainly concerning the next-gen version of the game, which will release on December 04. However, there were other big news (good and less good) that made the headlines. In that regard, we had new announcements by Electronic arts, some controversies and some rumors about the game. In this article, we will try to cover the main news of the last days.

Let us start this article with a controversy sparked by a tweet from AC Milan’s superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The player made the following statement “Who gave FIFA EA Sport permission to use my name and face? @FIFPro? I’m not aware to be a member of Fifpro and if I am I was put there without any real knowledge through some weird manouver. And for sure I never allowed @FIFAcom or Fifpro to make money using me”. This statement has prompted other players to also complain about the use of their likeness in FIFA games. We will see how EA will react in the following days.

The next news will delight David Beckham fans. The English player has signed a very lucrative agreement with Electronic arts to serve as an ambassador for the game. Beckham will reportedly earn £40 million for a three-year deal. FIFA 21 players will also benefit from this deal, with gifts coming their way on December 15. They will get a David Beckham item in FIFA Ultimate Team and have the opportunity to recruit him in their Volta Football team as a Groundbreaker. Beckham will also be part of FUT icons starting on December.

David Beckham will not be the only addition to Volta player. Several new Groundbreakers are coming to the game according to a tweet from EA. The new confirmed players are singer DuaLipa, NBA players Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Formula 1 record holder Lewis Hamilton and the legendary Zinedine Zidane. Players will have the opportunity to add all those players to their roster by beating them on their own arena.

Lastly, with black Friday approaching, FIFA 21 will be on sale with a huge discount. You can currently buy the game for the almost ridiculous price of $27. It is a unique opportunity that will allow you to unlock the game on next-gen consoles. FUTeamGo’s FIFA 21 coins are also on sale during the holiday.
